Before committing to provide services, we ask some basic questions to get a feel for what they have currently, and what they envision having in the future. This is preferably done in person in the classroom, but over the phone works too. The idea is to make it more "conversational", not like an interrogation that feels awkward. (These are soft skills students learn after the first 1 or 2)
